TINT MAN TIPS
Greetings from Tint Man
Since the first application of window film to a glass surface in the 70’s, there have been many changes in the industry. Products have changed with respect to raw materials, adhesives and solar properties. Gone are the days of bubbles, fading and peeling which is the result of these improved technologies. The installer has changed as well, todays installers demand a quality product, that shrinks well and will hold up over time.
While I have been in the window film industry since 1995, I admit I don’t know everything even after over 20 years. The installation process changes rapidly. I am smart enough to know that
it will continue to change, as new techniques are developed and perfected, by both newer installers and those of us that have been around for awhile.Below are a few items of note, that I found helpful during my tenure in this fast paced industry. Hopefully, you will find them useful. If you have a question, send me an email below, & I will try
to help.The Tint Man
